Child travel

Children under two years of age may travel only when accompanied by an adult passenger or by a passenger who has obtained full legal capacity under Russian civil law before reaching the age of eighteen.

Children aged from two to twelve may travel accompanied by an adult passenger or by a passenger who has obtained full legal capacity under Russian civil law before reaching the age of eighteen, or unaccompanied under the supervision of the carrier, if such transportation is permitted by the carrier’s rules.

Children over twelve years of age may travel without being accompanied by an adult passenger or a passenger who has obtained full legal capacity under Russian civil law before reaching the age of eighteen.

Transportation of baby strollers

A baby stroller is carried in the aircraft hold as checked baggage in addition to the standard free baggage allowance. The stroller must be used for transporting a child who is traveling with the passenger.

Passengers may use the stroller right up until boarding. When boarding begins, strollers are handed over to airport staff for loading into the aircraft hold.

If you need the stroller right up to the aircraft door, please inform an employee at the check-in counter.

During check-in before departure, we recommend checking in large strollers whenever possible to avoid difficulties when moving through the terminal on your own. Please note that boarding gates are not equipped with elevators, so strollers must be carried up or down the stairs. Please check your boarding gate details at check-in.

For detailed information about transporting strollers or bassinets as carry-on baggage and about onboard services for children and families, please contact your airline.
