Unaccompanied children
Unaccompanied children
Children aged from 5 to 12 may travel as unaccompanied minors (without parents or a designated passenger over 18 who takes responsibility for the child during the entire flight), in which case they are supervised by the carrier representative. At the request of parents, relatives or guardians, this service may also be provided for children up to 16 years old. A fee equal to 100% of the full adult fare is charged for transporting an unaccompanied child.
Unaccompanied children are accepted for travel only after their parents, relatives or guardians complete the required document (a declaration of responsibility for transportation of the unaccompanied child) with all necessary travel details. This document is completed when booking and purchasing the ticket or at the airline’s sales office.
The child’s age is determined as of the departure date from the airport (point) listed on the travel document.
